Awards

Normally, our owner, Michael Lamando, is not one to toot his own horn, however, the staff has finally convinced him that it's not bragging when you have worked very hard and your hard work is being recognized. With that said, we are proud of the achievements' we have made over the years and want to tell you about them.

One of the awards we are most proud of was given to us by NACE, National Association of Catering Executives. This award represents the caterer who uses inspiration, vision and imagination when working an event and the winner is selected by other industry professional. A nod from our fellow professionals is something we are very proud of.

The other award that is near and dear to us is from the magazine, The Knot, in their Best of Weddings award. This award is given based upon a survey the magazine compiles from brides who were married in the year the award represents. This means a lot to us since on the brides' most important day; we made her dreams come true. Then she went to the extra effort to nominate us. The Knot - "Best of Weddings". For the past 3 years, 2007, 2008, 2009, Amici's Catered Cuisine has been awarded the prestigious "Best of Weddings" award.
NACE - "Caterer of the Year" Over the years Amici's Catered Cuisine has won the prestigious award of "Caterer of the Year" presented by the National Association of Catering Executives. Award years, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2006 and 2007.
